In 2009, the young people from Belturbet joined Foroige and have never looked back. As a Foroige club, we attend disco’s, inter-club events, sports days, an annual conference for young people in the Cavan/Monaghan region and much more.
2011/2012 Events for Belturbet Foroige:Breffni Integrated is working with Belturbet Community Development Association and Foróige to try and start a Foróige Club Youth Club in Belturbet. There are huge benefits for young people and for the town in setting up a new club. Breffni Integrated will be holding an initial meeting in Belturbet on Wednesday 8th June from 8pm-9pm in the Town Hall for new leaders- Belturbet Foróige – poster for leaders meeting
We will be looking for people who are willing to train with a Foróige Development worker to be leaders of the club. Training is provided free of charge and becoming a leader can also help leaders gain new skills and work experience.
