Each July and September one of Ireland’s oldest angling festivals is held on the river Erne. Whether you just want to dangle your legs off the marina or stand waist high fly-fishing in the river, you will be surrounded by breathtaking landscape.

A lively town, Belturbet hosts the Festival of the Erne every year, which includes the Annual Lady of the Erne competition along with one of Ireland’s largest Fancy Dress Parades. A must see, the festival runs from the end of July through to the August Bank holiday weekend (ROI).
